I cannot even express how important it is to read your Bible mooooooore than you listen to peoples' interpretations of it. The amount of snakes out there, and wolves in sheep's clothing right now has me literally sick to my stomach. PLEASE! READ YOUR BIBLE - Read it BROADLY (the whole thing!) Read it OFTEN! and read it DEEPLY! Do not blindly believe what people tell you. JESUS is the Big deal, and his sacrifice for your sins, to reconcile you to himself, to give you a righteousness that is HIS and not your own! YOU are not the big deal, JESUS IS! Be mindful of how much the focus is on you rather than Jesus.... and I would highly recommend the Book "Counterfeit Kingdom" after you read a toooooon of scripture.
